List five things you think of when you hear “Southern California”. Odds are one of them was “traffic”. As most California natives do, I spend a lot of time sitting in traffic, but, of course, being a dancer, traffic has emerged into a place of inspiration. The angsty drivers interacting with the drivers around them, the formation of the vehicles, the choreography of everything moving going on around the stand still traffic. Basically, what I’ve learned living in California is there is art and inspiration all around us; even in the mundane.
